Abdu Magada set to transfer from URA to Gaddafi FC

Terms have been reached between Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC), Gaddafi FC, and Uganda Hippos goalkeeper Abdu Magada.
It is understood that Magada will be working with the tax collectors for a period of two years.

The young goalie played for the Uganda Hippos in the 2023 U20 Africa Cup of Nations and was crucial to the team’s performance as runners-up in the African Games hosted in Ghana this year.

During this transfer window, goalkeeper James Alitho is anticipated to leave ways with the tax collectors.

The Alex Isabirye Musongola-coached team will pit Magada against former Express FC goalkeeper Denis Otim for a starting spot in the upcoming campaign.

With Viane Ssekajugo, who is anticipated to join NEC FC, Najib Fesali, who joined BUL FC, and Eric Ssenjobe, who is currently at Rwanda’s Police FC, URA FC has already parted ways.
