James Rodriguez dreaming of return to Europe following stellar Copa America

Following his breakout performance for Colombia at the Copa America, James Rodriguez is apparently planning to leave Sao Paulo in order to return to Europe.

With multiple outstanding performances in the Copa America, the former Real Madrid player shown that he still had fire in his belly and led his country to a second-place finish in the continental competition. Along the way, Rodriguez broke the Copa America record with six assists, which helped him win the tournament’s best player award.

Journalist German Garcia Grova claims that Rodriguez is ready to leave Sao Paulo and try his luck in Europe after excelling with Colombia. Given his recent achievements, which have demonstrated that he still has a lot to contribute at the greatest level of competition, a number of European clubs may be interested in signing him. Rodriguez, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, “would love” to return to the continent.

Rodriguez had made suggestions a few months prior about maybe joining his old team, Everton. He replied to an Everton Hub social media post that recommended that he get back to the team. “Come home @jamesrodriguez10,” was the post’s message, to which Rodriguez responded, “Last dance?”

Throughout his career, James Rodriguez has accomplished a great deal. He has played for some of Europe’s top teams, such as Everton, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid. Rodriguez is renowned for his scoring prowess, inventiveness, and vision. He has continuously been an important member of the team for both club and nation. And he’d have the chance to play elite football again if he went back to Europe.
