Manchester United to miss both Rasmus Hojlund and Leny Yoro for months

Leny Yoro, who joined Manchester United in the summer, will likely be sidelined for three months after suffering a foot injury against Arsenal, the club has confirmed.

After moving from Lille for £52 million, the 18-year-old signed a five-year contract with the Red Devils last month, but he was forced to leave after the preseason friendly loss to the Gunners in Los Angeles.

After that, Yoro was seen in a protective boot before of United’s match against Real Betis in San Diego. It is currently anticipated that Yoro will miss the first three months of the season, with a possible October return.

Rasmus Hojlund, the striker, opened the score against Arsenal, but he is anticipated to miss six weeks due to a hamstring injury.

United’s next match is against Liverpool on Saturday in Columbia, and one week later, they play Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley.

Then, on Friday, August 16, Erik ten Hag’s team will kick off their Premier League campaign at home against Fulham.
