Jose Mourinho weighs in6 on the Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi Debate

It seems like Jose Mourinho is weighing in on the controversy surrounding Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

In recently released TNT Sports footage, the new Fenerbahce manager responded to a series of rapid-fire questions. The video was shot at Wembley, where the 61-year-old worked as a pundit for the Champions League final little under two weeks ago.

Before taking off for Turkey to formally take on the role of manager at Fenerbahce, where he has taken over since leaving his position at Roma last season, he was speaking.

Throughout his career, he has worked as a coach for teams like Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea, and some of the top players in the world, including Ronaldo.

‘Of course I would say the little guy,’ Mourinho responded. ‘But the little guy was not coachable.

‘But I have to say, in our generation, he was the best.’

Between 2010 and 2013, Mourinho coached fellow Portuguese star Ronaldo at Real Madrid, where they shared one La Liga championship.

Despite never having worked with Messi, he chose the former Barcelona player as the best player of the last several years.

Other things Mourinho answered included describing himself as ‘funny, honest and forever young’, citing the San Siro as the best stadium in the world, and mentioning that he makes ‘an incredible scrambled eggs’.
