NEC FC mutually parts ways with 9 players

This transfer window has seen NEC FC, which plays in the Uganda Premier League, part ways with nine players.
The contracts of six players—Brian Kayanja, Ssempa Hamza, Acire John Paul, Ssesazi Suleiman, Mubutu Garvin, and Kiberu Tonny—have expired with the club.

Kyeyune Tevin, Okiria Michael, and Asiimwe Innocent have had their contracts with the club terminated.

Among the new players that NEC FC has recruited to their roster this transfer window are goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo, forward Dickson Niwamanya, experienced midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba, Amir Kakomo, Patrick Bayiga, Jacob Okao, and Isma Kawawulo.

The addition of James Odoch, a former head coach of Express FC, as an assistant coach gave the Hussein Mbalangu-coached team another boost in their technical staff.

NEC FC finished as runners up in the Stanbic Uganda Cup and sixth in their inaugural Uganda Premier League season prior to this one.
