Kitara FC flies out to Libya for the CAF Confederations Cup

In order to play Al Hilal Benghazi SC in the first leg of the preliminary round, Uganda’s CAF Confederation Cup representatives Kitara FC have headed to Libya.
Muhammad Shaban’s Al Hilal Benghazi will be hosted by Kitara on Friday, August 16 in Benghazi.

The Royal departed early on Monday from Entebbe International Airport on Egypt Air. They will make a stop in Cairo, Egypt, before traveling on to Benghazi, Libya.

A squad of twenty players, including Farouk Yawe, Chripus Kusiima, Denis Omedi, Brian Aheebwa, Jude Ssemugabi, Frank Tumwesigye, George Senkaaba, Erick Muber, Paddy Muhumuza, Maxwell Owachgiu, Jasper Aheebwa, Arthur Kiggundu, Kabon Living, Solomon Okwalinga, Benjamin Nyakoojo, Ronald Otti, Titus Ssematimba, Marvin Nyanzi, and David Ndihabwe make up the team.

The squad has also included Ssenyondo’s aides David Bbale, Hamza Muwonge, Issa Serwanja, and Sharon Aceng.

As the head of the group, Issa Magola is accompanied on the trip by club president Deo Kasozi and CEO Joshua Atugonza.
